MILDRED HARRIST
Jan. 21, 1930 - April 14, 2018
Mildred Inez Jones Harrist, 88, of Doddridge, Ark., went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 14, 2018, at her residence surrounded by family.
She was born Jan. 21, 1930, in Troop, to Cecil and Emma Jones. She was retired from Atlanta Memorial Hospital and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church of Doddridge, Ark. She enjoyed spending time with family, flower gardening and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Irene Garrett; and two brothers, Curtis Jones and Rayford Jones.
She is survived by her husband, T. K. Harrist of Doddridge; daughter, Karen Nelson and husband Vernon of Doddridge; sister, Helen Griffith of Shreveport, La.; two grandchildren, Janette Hall Campanilla of Texarkana, Ark., and Michael Hall of Doddridge; six great-grandchildren, Anthony Zuniga, Selena Campanilla, Angelica Campanilla, Ana Campanilla, Sergio Campanilla and Isabella Campanilla; two great-great-grandchildren, Amelia Zuniga and Avery Zuniga; and a number of other relatives.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, at Hanner Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Doddridge with Bro. Wayne Gray and Bro. Tommy Henderson officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.

CLIFTON ‘C. W.’ EASLEY
Aug. 17, 1936 - April 13, 2018
Clifton “C. W.” Easley, 81, of Queen City, went to be with the Lord Friday, April 13, 2018, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 17, 1936, in Miller County, Ark., to Clifton and Vallerie Walls Easley. He was retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber Company and was a member First Baptist Church of Queen City. He enjoyed spending time with family, cattle ranching and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Janis Upchurch Easley; and a great-grandson, Crew Duncan.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Easley of Queen City; three sons, Randall Easley and wife Donna of Queen City, Bobby Easley and wife Kathy of Queen City and Charles Easley and wife Sandra of Atlanta; step-son, Waylon Wilson and wife Melody of Queen City; step-daughter, Jackie Yates of Atlanta; five brothers, J.C. Easley and wife Annette of Atlanta, Clovis Easley and wife Donna of Fouke, Ark., Ricky Easley and wife Nancy of Atlanta, Roy Easley and wife Linda of Atlanta and Johnny Easley and wife Teresa of Atlanta; a sister, Jane Wright of Gainsville; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Visitation was from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 15, at Hanner Funeral Service
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday, April 16, at First Baptist Church in Queen City with Bro. Jim Looby officiating. Interment followed at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.

MARY LOU BERRY
Oct. 8, 1946 - April 10, 2018
Mary Lou Berry, 71, of Linden, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at a Dallas area hospital.
She worked as an x-ray technician early in life. She married the love of her life Jerry Berry, Nov. 24, 1967. Along with her husband, she owned and operated Jerry Berry Air Conditioning & Electric, Inc. in Linden.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Ann Morgan; and a nephew, Rodney Morgan.
She is survived by her loving husband of more than 50 years, Jerry Berry; a son, Mike Berry and wife Amanda; a daughter, Donna Berry; grandchildren, Torri Moyers and husband Caleb, Matthew "Bud" Berry and wife Evan and Traccer Henry; great-grandchildren, Tanner Moyers, Case Berry, Cannon Moyers and Lane Berry; sisters; Margie Beard and husband David and Martha Sue Martin and husband Ken; brother-in-law, Wayne Morgan; and a host of other relatives and friends..
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 13, at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14, at Pinecrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Bryan Baggett officiating. Interment followed at New Colony Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home.

FAYE RUTH SMITH WHEATON
April 12, 1933 - April 9, 2018
Faye Wheaton, 84, of Bloomburg, passed from this life Monday, April 9, 2018.
She was devoted to family and was a Baptist by faith. She was always full of joy and shared happiness with those she loved. She loved traveling and the desert table.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oakley and Callie Smith; and a brother Jerl Smith. 
She is survived by her sons, Donald Wheaton and Billy Don Wheaton of Bloomburg; brother, James Smith of Richardson; sisters, Janice Thurman of Atlanta and Judy McCreery and husband Vernon of Bloomburg; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 12, at Macedonia Baptist Cemetery in Doddridge, Ark., under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home with Brother George Goynes presiding.

Hazel Spangler Goecke, 89, of Highland Village, formerly of Queen City, died Thursday, April 12, 2018, in a Flower Mound rehabilitation facility.
