JOE R. ‘JODY’ STRINGER
Oct. 1, 1957 - March 25, 2018
Joe R. “Jody” Stringer, 60, of Atlanta, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 25, 2018, in a Texarkana Hospice House.
He was born Oct. 1, 1957, in Texarkana, to Danny and Julia Jo Stringer. He was retired from Bowie Cass Co-Op Electric as a lineman and was a retired building contractor. He was a Christian and enjoyed spending time fishing, hunting, camping and playing golf.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Michael Stringer and David Stringer.
He is survived by his daughter, Keli Stringer of Atlanta; son, Kirk Stringer of Atlanta; two brothers, Paul Stringer and wife Toni of Atlanta and Ronald Stringer and wife Carla of Longview; nieces and nephews, Jared Stringer, Kyli Caver, Michael Stringer, Mark Stringer, Jason Stringer and Elisa Talley; and a number of great-nieces and nephews; and many close friends.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, at Hanner Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 28 in the Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. Don Crutcher officiating.
Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.

NAOMI G. FRANK
Oct. 27, 1955 - March 20, 2018
Naomi G. Frank, 62, of Fouke, Ark., went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 27, 1955, in Greeley, Colo., to Johnny and Vila Sloan. In August 9, 1974, she married the love of her life Richard L. Frank. She was the founder of Visit our Widows (VOW) ministries, pastored four churches in Colorado, Kansas and Texas with her husband Richard. She was a member of Fairland Holiness Church, loved to sing, play the piano and was known for her sweet spirit and servant heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Linda K. Sloan.
She is survived by her husband Richard L. Frank of Fouke, Ark.; three brothers, Johnny Sloan and wife Dianne of Hamilton, Ohio, Steve Sloan and wife Cinda of Greely, Colo., and Mark Sloan and wife Betty of Lorain, Ohio; nephews and nieces, Sean, Martyn, Kriscinda, Jason, Shannan, Eric, and Jonathon; and a number of other relatives.
Visitation was from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 23, at Fairland Holiness Church in Fouke, Ark.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at Fairland Holiness Church in Fouke with Bro. Loyd Shuecraft officiating. Interment followed at the Fairland Cemetery in Fouke under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
J. W. ‘DUB’ THOMAS
Sept. 1, 1943 - March 20, 2018
J. W. “Dub” Thomas, 74, of Queen City, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at his residence surrounded by family.
He was born Sept. 1, 1943, in Atlanta, to James Elvin and Hattie Thomas. He was the retired owner of J. W. Thomas Trucking and attended Springdale Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time camping, gardening and cattle ranching.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Leanna Thomas; brother, Jim Thomas; sister, Betty Nichols; and his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Thomas of Queen City; son, Jay Thomas and wife Dana of Genoa, Ark.; sister, Robbie Jester and husband John of Atlanta; four grandchildren, Trey Thomas, Blake Harvin and wife Alisa, Chase Harvin and Braiden Thomas; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 23, at Hanner Funeral Service
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24, in the Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. James Wallace officiating. Interment will be in Springdale Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.

Ben Shaddix, 35, of New Boston, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, in a Texarkana hospital.
He was born Nov. 9, 1982, in Mount Pleasant, to Bro. Robert and Emma Jo Shaddix. He was employed with Red River Army Depot and was a member of Savannah Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time hiking and playing bass guitar with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bro. Robert “Bob” Shaddix.
He is survived by his mother, Emma Jo Shaddix of New Boston; three brothers, Nat Shaddix and wife Lisa of Arkadelphia, Ark., Shane Shaddix and wife Amy of Tomball and Danny Shaddix and wife Christy of Monroe, La.; two sisters, Laurie McCord and husband Robert of Naples and Katrina Smith and husband John of Tyler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be April 14, at Savannah Baptist Church.
